Giving Back
If you're anything like us, when asked what your favorite thing about Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) is, you would probably agree in saying, it's the people. The community was what first drew us into OCR several years ago, and it's still what we love most about the sport today. While we give back by volunteering at many different OCR events, and do giveaways of our equipment throughout the year, there is a non-profit organization, that is near and dear to our hearts, called Lionhearts Fitness that we give back to, both monetary and by supplying training equipment to their facility. This organization is located around the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. Lionhearts Fitness provides fitness, as well as, other fun activities for the youth, including OCR, absolutely FREE. The only requirement to join is to participate in their monthly community service.
Their mission: "To empower our youth to face fears and conquer obstacles, knowing their worth, building self-worth, as well as, becoming stronger physically. Obstacle Racing, particularly in team racing, develops community, unity, strength and empowerment by helping others. No one is left out, left behind. If one person can’t do an obstacle, their teammate will help, or even do it for them. Everyone has their favorite strength and obstacle, together we face them and are victorious."
Since their beginning, we have supported this wonderful organization and continue to do so. If you would like to learn more about them and how you can also help, please go to https://lionheartsfitness.com/ .
God bless!
